Meggen Wilson is the founder behind Wild Montana Foods, a specialty food company rooted in the landscapes and traditions of Northwest Montana. For over 20 years, Meggen has called this region home—raising a family, growing a business, and deepening a connection to the land that inspires everything she creates.
As a long-time member of the Board of Trustees for the Vital Ground Foundation, Meggen focuses a great deal of her time protecting open spaces and wildlife corridors in the Northern Rockies. That conservation ethos runs through every jar and bottle made by Wild Montana Foods—from our organic vanilla extracts to our small-batch vanilla paste crafted with local fruit, honey, and spirits.
Wild Montana Foods is the next chapter of Pine & Palm Kitchen, Meggen's food blog started in 2017, which shares elevated and elegant recipes and pantry staples that celebrate seasonal cooking and sustainable ingredients. Whether testing a new vanilla bean, working with one of our retail partners, or chatting with clients at the Whitefish Farmers Market, our mission is to craft exceptional pantry staples using Montana-grown and -gathered ingredients, honoring tradition, protecting wild places, and connecting people through real food, made with care.
